Identities
Social Media:
@coneve1414: This is my main Instagram account that I give out to people, and the one that I use more for networking. There are many individuals that I can only contact over Instagram, such as the engineering students I met last summer from Hellenic Mediterranean University in Chania, Greece.Â
Skills: Networking, Communication
@connerpeverett: This is my Instagram account that I use more as a place to post photos that I think look interesting! Currently, half of the posts are about my time in Greece, with the other posts including two about cows and one with a photo of me and my friends posing at the Field of Screams sign. This one is followed more from people I am close with than anything else.

Professional Networking
This is my LinkedIn profile, which contains much of if not all of the information on my resume. While I mainly utilize this account for networking purposes, it is extremely useful if I need a quick way to pull up resume material when meeting someone, or a way to connect with a professional after meeting them in order to maintain the conversation. Additionally, I utilize this profile to develop skills through the use of the LinkedIn Learning platform. While I have yet to finish a LinkedIn Learning course, I am currently working on some.

This is my portfolio, and while it is not done (is it ever really done?), I am utilizing this for the sake of having a method to showcase my skills and market myself without the use of my LinkedIn profile. This site is more of an “elevator pitch” of myself than anything else. Additionally, this is a place where I can implement more about myself to improve how I see myself as a professional.

Academics & Campus Involvement:
Coursera - This identity I use to learn new skills. This takes the form of completing trainings for things such as Trello, SCRUM, Business Analytics, and the Microsoft Office suite. Some artifacts of this identity include the skills that I have developed, plus the certificates that I was provided for completing the course.
Skills: Professional Development
MeritPages - This is a brief overview listing my academic achievements during my time at the college. While these are not all of my accomplishments at the college, these are the ones that I have received officially from the college. This pages does get updated when new accomplishments are achieved.
Skills: Professional Development, Time Management, Communication
Campus Activities Board - I am an executive chair for the YCP Campus Activities Board. As a result, I have to communicate with students, performers, administration, and companies to hold events that students will enjoy. This involves working with departments such as the Office of Student Activities, Library & Technology Services, Campus Safety, and outside companies such as rental companies, movie rights companies, and performers.

Event Planning
Working as an Executive Chair for the Campus Activities Board of York College, I have had the privilege to work with variuous artists and companies in a professional setting. This has required me to gain communication skills that I did not possess prior to being given the position, such as public speaking skills, and how to write and speak in a professional tone. Additionally, I also had to gain public relations skills, as I have had to create promotional material and answer questions that I did not know the answer, all of which had to be done in a professional manner.
Writing Skills
During my time at York College of PA, I have had several courses that changed my writing skills. These courses include IA210 Writing for Intelligence taught by Dr. Weaver, the CYB375 Think Like a Hacker course taught by Dr. Norrie, and CYB300 with Dr. Schwartz. These courses forced me to experience different writing styles, and work with styles that I was not comfortable with at the time. Additionally, these courses forced my writing to become more clear and concise, as there was not a need for me to fill space with filler words. A great example of this would be my CYB375 final paper, which I have linked below.
Cyberthreat Analysis of the WannaCry Ransomware
Internships
I worked at several companies as an Intern:
New Age Metal Fabricating Co. - Fairfield, NJ
Cartridge Actuated Devices - Fairfield NJ & Byram NJ
I also work at the LTS Help desk at York College, which provides me with experience working at an IT help desk.
These internships helped me form professional connections with individuals who work in similar fields to what I will be working in - including but not limited to defense and security.
Artifacts: Professional Networking
LinkedIn Network
My LinkedIn network has grown significantly since I started in the professional world. While most of my LinkedIn connections are individuals I know from education, cybersecurity or manufacturing related, I have been slowly growing this network as I start to get to know more professionals in the workplace. These individuals may be from different disciplines compared to me, but it shows my networking skills and how I am able to grow myself professionally.
Conference Attendance
In the Fall 2022, Spring 2023, and the Spring 2024 semesters, I attended a conference for student leadership and student activities on behalf of YCP. In this conference, I learned useful information about event and project planning, which has translatable skills that can be applied towards my career
